Surrounded by trees and nature, views of the lit-up Basilica, charming venue in beautiful Asturias. Lovely continental breakfast, helpful staff, and free WiFi. Safety features include a fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
Oh, just a tad dark and damp, and I played detective all night listening for noise. But who needs good sleep anyway?

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the beautiful Picos de Europa. It is close to the lakes, which can be reached in just 20 minutes by car. The hosts are also very knowledgeable about the area and provide great tips and recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast here is delicious, with options like fried eggs and fresh fruit. The cozy lobby area with a warm fire is a perfect spot to relax on a rainy day.
The wifi in the rooms can be a bit unreliable.

I always return to this place in Covadonga. The staff went out of their way to assist with my elderly parents. It has all the amenities I need: Wi-Fi, off-site car park, flat-screen TV, laundry. Perfect for my weekend getaways.

The location of the hotel was great, close to beautiful attractions and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations and directions. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We also appreciated the parking facility available for our rental car.
It felt dark and unwelcoming, and there was a slight damp smell. The lack of soundproofing made it difficult to sleep, as we could hear every noise from outside.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The beautiful historic features, like the inviting fireplaces and terracotta floors, made me feel like I was staying in a traditional Spanish home. The cosy living room with a fireplace was particularly delightful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea or reading a good book. Additionally, the hotel was very accessible for senior people like me. There were no stairs to climb and the hallways were wide enough to navigate easily with a walker or cane. It made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people like myself is a more pronounced sign indicating the hotel's entrance. It took me a bit of walking around the street to find the hotel, as it blended in with the surrounding buildings.

The riverside path to the Holy Cave was crazy cool, we felt like we were on an adventure movie! Plus, we got to do some epic canoeing and a gnarly hike in the Picos de Europa. And let's not forget the awesome hosts, Pino and Jorge, they made us feel like rockstars!
The only bummer was that there wasn't a super happening nightlife nearby. We wish there had been more options for us young party-goers to keep the fun going after our thrilling days of adventure.

Breakfast choices could be better, but everything else made up for it.

The location of this place is absolutely perfect, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The fact that they have parking available for rental cars is a huge plus. We were able to easily walk to the Basilica in the cave and to nearby restaurants for meals. The bus stop for trips to the Lakes is incredibly close by, which is great because driving there isn't allowed. The breakfast provided was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including yogurt, fruit, meat, cheese, bread. The owners of this place were so friendly and helpful, and they spoke good English. The terrace was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a drink with an amazing view. They even offered great recommendations for places to visit, including a stunning viewpoint across the road. If we were in the area again, we would definitely choose to stay here without hesitation. The hosts were truly caring about every detail and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even offered their private access pass to the lakes, which made it so much easier to visit by car during road closure hours. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, much better than what you typically find in Spanish hotels. The hosts also had a lot of toys for kids and a garden area for them to play in. During our two-night stay, everything was absolutely perfect. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that everything was just right for us, and the location in the shadow of the basilica at Covadongo was superb. The cleanliness of the place was outstanding. Breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent, while the evenings were spent on the terrace with a glass of wine watching the sunset. This location is great for exploring Covadonga, Cangas de Onis, Picos de Europa, or even heading north to the coast. Plus, there are several local restaurants within easy walking distance.
